Jesse Pedraza is the Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging at Barkley. Prior to joining Barkley, he led Diversity & Civic Engagement for the Kansas City Monarchs. Jesse was instrumental in the rebranding from the Kansas City T Bones to the Kansas City Monarchs, revenue growth, and the development of the organization's efforts to build and sustain an inclusive baseball club. The scope of his work included sponsorship sales, marketing activation, and developing the organization’s diversity & inclusion strategies as well as starting their 501(c)(3), the Monarchs Youth Academy. Jesse was a 2017 Kansas City Most Wanted Honoree and has served on multiple boards and committees throughout the Kansas City community including but not limited to, the Guadalupe Centers Inc., Suits For Hire, the Negro League Baseball Museum, and the newly established Monarchs Youth Academy. In 2018 Jesse completed the FBI Citizens Academy program and is now a proud alum.
